Patti Gray was a
fifth generation Californian with a BA in
English, who liked to immerse herself in
mystery and suspense.

 | Nancy Vittum, a
charter member, has recently returned to
the area. She writes poetry, short
stories, essays and children's stories. "Writing,
for me, is like entering a magical
kingdom where the word selections you
make determine the outcome you'll get and
the possibilities are unlimited."

 | Robert Warren,
one of the Charter Members, writes
children's stories, satire and
essays. He is thinking of fictional
accounts of Mark Twain for some of his
future writings. |
 | Selma Rubler, a
Charter Member, taught nursing at a
community college and developed technical
materials for her students to use.
After retirement she began and continues
to write poetry, children's stories and
short stories. |
 | Anne Pina,
Charter Member. "History
fascinates me. Doing the research
necessary for stories set in the past is
happy toil. I'm currently writing a
series of novellas based on crime reports
from Lincoln County, Georgia in the
early
1800's. Next on the agenda will be
writing a sixth draft of a novel
set in 1777-1778, mainly in Florida,
then under British rule." |
